Valleys Steps is a service providing information of a general nature. We are not a crisis service ourselves and do not offer individual emotional support. We are aware, however, that from time to time this site may be reached by someone who needs immediate help so we have listed relevant local support services below.

C.A.L.L. Helpline

This service offers emotional support and information/literature on Mental Health and related matters to the people of Wales. Anyone concerned about their own mental health or that of a relative or friend can access the service.

The Samaritans

The Samaritans is a registered charity aimed at providing emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland

The Samaritans are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they offer free confidential emotional support to anyone experiencing feelings of distress or despair.
