Who are Valleys Steps?
We are an exciting, innovative organisation working in a partnership with Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB, USW, Aneurin Bevan Health Board, local colleges, GP Clusters and a wide range of other stakeholders in the Third and Statutory Sectors. We are now firmly established in the third sector and are known for delivering high-quality early intervention well-being courses to 3rd Sector, Public Sector and Private Commercial organisations. Practitioners will also be involved with delivering a telephone information service, taking an active role in promoting the service online and at events and in supporting the development of the organisation.
Valleys Steps is seeking to appoint a professional, enthusiastic and motivated Well-being Practitioner/Practitioners to deliver a programme of emotional/mental well-being courses to students and learners, other young people and families. Core provision will include delivery of 6 week mindfulness and resilience courses. Other work will include providing interventions to young people in schools as well as family based workshops.
